Business Honors for June 16


The Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System has earned recognition as a Best Employer for Healthy Lifestyles for the second consecutive year by the National Business Group on Health, a nonprofit association of large U.S. employers.

LaQuinton Nimox, of Dyke Nelson Architecture LLC, has earned LEED — Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design — Green Associate accreditation through the U.S. Green Building Council.

Music Inc. of Louisiana in Gonzales received a designation as one of the Top 100 music instrument and product retailers in the world by the National Association of Music Merchants. Brandt Bourque is owner of 40-year-old Music Inc. Judges select those listed on the basis of customer service and community advocacy for music education and music-making. NAMM has about 9,000 member companies in more than 87 countries.


Susan Dinneen, an attorney with King, Krebs & Jurgens PLLC in New Orleans, and Cristin Fitzgerald, an attorney with Fitzgerald & Brown LLC in New Orleans, have been named Fellows
of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.

The LBF works to preserve, honor and improve the justice system.

Vince P. Gremillion, president Restech Information Services Inc. in Metairie, has been named the 2013 Louisiana Small Business Person of the Year for Louisiana by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Restech provides voice
and data management services with a focus on information security, connectivity, storage and enterprise systems.

The award recognizes
small businesses that create jobs, produce revenue, lift local economies, support the local infrastructure and give back charitably to the communities where they live and work.

New Orleans-based Ochsner Medical Center has received Disease-Specific Care Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification from the Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Comprehensive Stroke Centers are recognized as industry leaders and are responsible for setting the national agenda in specialized stroke care. Certification is based on an onsite review and compliance with the Comprehensive Stroke Center standards.

St. John the Baptist Parish President Natalie H. Robottom is being presented the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Phoenix Award, recognizing her outstanding contribution to disaster recovery in her role as a public official in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac.


Daniel J. Viator, of Youngsville, has received the American Sugar Cane League’s Outstanding Service award for 2013. Viator was recognized as an outstanding sugar cane farmer and member of the league. He retired from farming in 2008, having served as a research assistant with LSU Agronomy and was the former owner of the 2,200-acre Triple V Farms of Youngsville and part-owner of the 1,100-acre Viator Farms of Jeanerette.
