BATON ROUGE AREA

Baton Rouge-based specialty stainless steels producer Crompion International LLC has named Ken Grantham as executive vice president; Bob Whipple as vice president of engineering; Angel Proaño as vice president of international sales; and Dave Carter as sales manager.

Grantham was director of technical sales and services.

Whipple was a professional metals engineering consultant, who previously had worked as senior calrod component engineer and project team leader for General Electri.

Proaño was executive president and sales manager at Flowers Santa Barbara Cia. Ltda. in Ecuador.

Carter was vice president of sales for Dewetron Worldwide, working out of LaPlace.

Terrence Marshall, LSU AgCenter county agent in East Baton Rouge Parish, has been chosen as president of the Louisiana County Agents Association.

Sujuan Boutté has been named interim executive director of the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance following the retirement of executive director Melanie Amrhein.

Boutté is LOSFA’s deputy executive director and chief operations officer.

Remy Plas has joined BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo as membership and events coordinator, overseeing the zoo’s membership program and promotional events, as well as the management of social media.

She is a graduate of LSU and held internships with Fuse Your Brand and Congressman Bill Cassidy.

NEW ORLEANS AREA

Michael “Mike” A. Gennaro has been named chief commercial lending officer at Metairie Bank, managing its commercial lending group. He was a commercial lender at Whitney and was a director of new business development and portfolio manager Hibernia National Bank/Capital One.

HRI Lodging Inc. has named Lee Ann Benge as vice president of human resources and Yelena Yershova as executive office manager.

Benge was vice president of human resources at Noble-Interstate Management Group in Atlanta.

Yershova joined HRI Properties in 2010 in the lodging division, where she has supported the executive team with office administration.

Todd Schexnayder, senior vice president of human resources at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, has been elected chairman of Opera Louisiane’s board.

Other officers are Kay Radlauer, vice chairman; Susan Leake, secretary; and Peter Barrios, treasurer.

New directors are Russell Chapman, Ellen Snyder, Helen Hoffpauir and Sara Lou Hill.

Kevin Pollard, managing partner and president of GlobalSolve Management Services LLC, has been appointed to the board of directors of Wechem Inc. an international business consulting firm specializing in acquisition and expansion.

LAFAYETTE AREA

Leslie Olinger, who has served as assistant vice president and manager of MidSouth Bank’s consumer credit department, has been promoted to first vice president.

AROUND LOUISIANA

Leo C. Hamilton, of Breazeale, Sache & Wilson LLP in Baton Rouge, has been installed as president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation.

Other officers are Judge C. Wendell Manning, of Monroe, who serves on the 4th Judicial District Court for the parishes of Morehouse and Ouachita, vice president; H.
