The Gulf Coast Trade Alliance 2013 World Trade Conference is being held April 17–19 at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder.
Topics at the conference cover exporting; logistics and transportation; international finance; taking advantage of NAFTA and cross-border trade with Canada and Mexico; getting in early on Israel’s developing natural gas market; and what Louisiana and local companies stand to gain from the expansion of the Panama Canal.
Speakers will be from the U.S. Department of Commerce, the governments of Israel, Canada and Mexico as well as businesses such as Sasol and Cheniere Energy.
The conference is organized by the Southwest Louisiana Economic Development Alliance in conjunction with Le Centre International of Lafayette and the New Orleans U.S. Export Assistance Center and hosted by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.
