The 25th annual Trends in Real Estate seminar will be held at 7:30 a.m. April 18th at the BREC Independence Park Theater at 7800 Independence Blvd.
Organizers say 600 people are signed up to attend so far and the public is encouraged to register. More information is available online at http://www.batonrougetrends.net. The cost is $50 in advance and $60 at the door.
Trends features presentations of research by teams of local real estate professionals in the finance, industrial, multi-family, office, residential and retail sectors of the Baton Rouge metro area market.
“Each Trends presentation is the product of hard work and extensive evaluation by market experts,” 2013 Trends Chairman Branden Barker said in a news release. “The program has become a trusted industry resource, eagerly awaited by professionals and lay people alike.”
Attendees include Realtors, property managers, appraisers, lenders, real estate researchers and others interested in real estate and the local economy.
Trends started in 1988 as a joint project of the commercial and investment division of the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors and LSU’s Real Estate Research Institute.
According to the association, the goal of the program is to educate members of the division, their clients and other real estate practitioners in the greater Baton Rouge area about the current and forecast trends in the market.
