The names of the existing clinics — Ascension Urgent Care in Prairieville, St. Elizabeth After Hours Prairieville and St. Elizabeth After Hours Burnside in Gonzales — will be branded as Lake Urgent Care, the company said Thursday. The clinics will be a joint venture of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Hospital and Ascension Urgent Care. Dr. Glen Neal will serve as the medical director and nurse practitioner Kyle Juneau will serve as the administrator and oversee daily operations for the three centers. As a result of the merger, Lake After Hours and Lake Urgent Care will have 14 total urgent care locations in Baton Rouge, Prairieville, Gonzales, Central, Denham Springs, Hammond, Brusly and Zachary. “Our Lady of the Lake opened its first after-hours clinic 13 years ago and its convenience and popularity with patients has been the driver for growth and expansion,” Scott Wester, CEO of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, said in a news release. “We are pleased to collaborate with our sister organization St. Elizabeth as well as the Ascension providers and look forward to this new opportunity,” he said.
