Molecular Group moves into LSU incubator Molecular Group moves into LSU incubator Advocate business staff report April 09, 2013 Comments The Molecular Group, an environmental science and engineering firm, has joined the Louisiana Business & Technology Center at LSU. The company, founded in 2006, specializes in four areas: research and testing; engineering and renewable energy; transport; and fracking. Some of its projects include finding alternative uses for retired oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and promoting renewable energy. Roy Lindsey, principal of the Molecular Group, said the LSU affiliation has given his company access to LBTC partners such as NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Molecular Group is the 34th company to join the LSU business incubator.
