Textron gets $5.5 million contract

NEW ORLEANS — Textron Marine & Land Systems has been awarded a $5.5 million contract to provide 12 armored turrets, technical support services, vehicle repairs and spare parts for the Colombian Army’s armored personnel carriers.

The contract came from the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command.

Textron Marine is an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. company.
