Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will not be speaking at Wednesday’s Baton Rouge Area Chamber shareholder’s meeting.
Donohue was forced to drop out because of illness, BRAC officials said in a news release Tuesday evening.
R. Bruce Josten, executive vice president, government affairs with the U.S. Chamber, will make a presentation in his place. Josten is the No. 2 official in the business organization.
The shareholder’s meeting will be at the Renaissance Hotel on Bluebonnet Boulevard. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with the program starting at 8 a.m.
