SWCA Environmental Consultants said Wednesday that it is opening an office in Baton Rouge to meet the needs of energy and other clients with operations along the Gulf Coast.
The office will provide environmental permitting, regulatory compliance and planning services, the Phoenix-based company said.
Richard Greig will manage the office’s team of environmental specialists.
“We have done work in Louisiana since 1998 based out of our Houston operation,” said Texas and Gulf Coast Senior Principal Brian Fairchild, who has managerial oversight for the new operations.
“Now, formally establishing a Baton Rouge office allows us to expand our presence in oil and gas markets in Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast. Baton Rouge’s strategic location also positions SWCA to provide environmental consulting services for coastal restoration and state and local government projects in the region.”
