Hardy, representing East Baton Rouge Parish, has been elected president of the board of commissioners for the Port of Greater Baton Rouge. Other officers elected include Blaine Sheets, of Ascension Parish, vice president; Angela Machen, of East Baton Rouge Parish, secretary; and Clint Seneca, of Iberville Parish, treasurer. Seneca is the chief deputy assessor for the Iberville Parish Assessor’s Office. Cindy Macha has been appointed development director of Boys Hope Girls Hope. She was development director at Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge and Redemptorist High School. Julie Carter Spears has been named director of the med surg unit at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was telemetry unit director, quality resources director and a quality resources case manager. Lamar Advertising Co. has named Leon Jang as marketing technology director, Alise Johnson as art director, Christopher Landry as marketing technology brand manager and Allie McAlpin as marketing communications director. Jang was marketing coordinator. Johnson was a graphic designer since 2006. Landry was marketing product coordinator. McAlpin was manager of marketing communications. Family Road of Greater Baton Rouge has named as new board members: Melissa Lewis Anderson, the director of community relations and business development for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital; Shaun Kemmerly, a pediatrician for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and medical director of the Baton Rouge Children’s Health Project; Karen Profita, the principal of KJP Impressions; and Scarlett Osborn Roemer, a pediatric nurse for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Genevieve Silverman will continue to serve as chairman of the board. Silverman is director of finance with the Louisiana Technology Park.
