Meredith Lampton, an AIDS-certified registered nurse with HAART, the HIV/AIDS Alliance for Region Two, has been awarded the HIV Educator Distinguished Service Award by the Association for Nurses in AIDS Care. The award recognizes an individual, who through HIV education/prevention, has impacted the lives of those they have instructed, including patients, families, health-care providers and the public.
