Dianna Braud, director of national programs for the Alliance Safety Council, has earned the Certified Association Executive credential from the American Society of Association Executives. The CAE credential is based on experience, specialized professional development, an exam and ethics pledge.
Fred Enright, LSU AgCenter professor emeritus who retired as head of the Department of Veterinary Science, has been selected for the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences.
The Baton Rouge branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers presented annual awards to Christopher P. Knotts, Outstanding Civil Engineer; Samuel D. Amoroso, Outstanding Young Civil Engineer; Ayman Okeil, Outstanding Civil Engineering Educator; Ann F. Trappey, Outreach Award; Larry A. McKee, Lifetime Achievement Award; and Gerald R. Dyson, Wall of Fame Award. The branch recipients are nominated for Louisiana section awards.
