Shaw gets Oregon power plant contract

The Shaw Group Inc. has been awarded a contract to install equipment to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions from a 585-megawatt coal-fired power plant in northeastern Oregon.
Baton Rouge-based Shaw will engineer, procure and build the system for Portland General Electric’s Boardman Station. The contract’s value was not disclosed.
