BUSINESS HONORS

A team of LSU entrepreneurship fellows placed second for the second year in the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Global Startup Simulation Challenge.

In the competition, teams demonstrate their business prowess in taking a computer manufacturing company from startup to production to sales. The LSU team members were Ali Burmester, a junior in accounting, and Stephanie Chaney, a senior in management, both of Baton Rouge; Will Chadwick, junior in marketing, of Shreveport; Lauren Dixon, junior in marketing, of Slidell; and Joey Ham, senior in petroleum engineering, of Alexandria.

The Ochsner Sleep Disorder Center on Bluebonnet Boulevard has earned re-accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine based on its commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
