Allen Collyar has been named mortgage operations officer at American Gateway Bank, managing the bank’s mortgage department, including sales, processing, compliance and investor relations. Collyar was the loan administration manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Baton Rouge.
Annette Springer has been elected president of the Greater Baton Rouge chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Other members of the executive board are David Noland, vice president; Paul Marks, treasurer; Wilbert Ursin III, secretary; Karen Saurage, past president; George Harris, delegate; and Lance Roux, member-at-large.
Quintin Taylor has been named executive director of media relations with the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. Taylor was the communications coordinator for Memphis City Schools in Tennessee.
Julie Laperouse has been named director of talent development at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. She operated Bancroft Paper Co. in Jackson, Miss., for two years before selling the company and returning to the Baton Rouge area.
Patricia A. Krebs, of King, Krebs & Jurgens PLLC in New Orleans, has been elected president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation. Other officers are Leo C.
