James R. Silverstein has joined Kean Miller LLP as a partner. Silverstein was a partner with Frilot LLC in New Orleans, with an active trial practice.

Abbie Speyrer has joined Postlethwaite and Netterville as a manager in the firm’s consulting division. Speyrer was an internal audit manager at Amedisys.

J. Randolph Bryan has been named executive vice president and director of strategic initiatives and mergers and acquisitions at IberiaBank. He was chief operating officer for First Southern Bancorp in Boca Raton, Fla.

The Lafayette Public Library Foundation announced officers who are continuing service: Richard R. Kennedy III, president; Jason West, vice president; Linda Alesi, corresponding secretary; Brandon Hyde, treasurer; Anne Patin, recording secretary; and Joan Wingate, immediate past president. New board members are Adele Blue; Dr. Jean Kreamer; Susan Bibaeff; Bettie Sonnier; Erin Bass; and Lloyd Rochon. Continuing their service on the board are Chere’ Coen; Mary Katherine “Keeny” Rigaud; Vanessa Hill, ex officio, liaison of the Board of Control of the Library; and Sona Dombourian, ex officio, director of the Lafayette Parish Library.
