Daniel Baker-Zachary bureau July 11, 2013 Comments CLINTON — East Feliciana Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for an East Baton Rouge Parish man indicted last month on a count of vehicular homicide, a spokesman for Sheriff Talmadge Bunch said. Derrick D. Daniel, 38, 9460 Pride-Port Hudson Road, was named in an indictment returned May 7 by an East Feliciana Parish grand jury investigating the Nov. 17 death of Kenneth Taylor Jr., 33, of Baton Rouge. Sgt. Kevin Garig said sheriff’s deputies have been unable to find Daniel since the grand jury reported on the case. State Police said Taylor was a passenger in Daniel’s car, which struck a pickup driven by Reggie Wayne Gross Jr., 37, 12725 Gross Road, Clinton, on La. 67 about 5 miles south of Clinton. The grand jury also charged Gross with first-offense driving while intoxicated. Anyone having information on Daniel is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office (225) 683-5459, Garig said.
