Deputies believe someone else may have been involved in the shoot-out that left spent bullet casings littering the scene at 16244 La. 10. McKey said Martin just got out of prison, where he served only part of a five-year sentence for negligent homicide as part of a plea deal stemming from a 2009 fatal bar shooting. State Police detectives are assisting in the investigation. Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (225) 683-5459.
