Two Zachary men booked  in rape, solicitation cases

Police Chief David McDavid on Thursday announced the arrest of two men on aggravated rape counts in separate cases involving minors.

McDavid said detectives booked Robert Cecil Noce Jr., 44, 3021 S. Vernon Drive, Zachary, into Parish Prison on an aggravated rape count on Wednesday.

His bail was set at $500,000, according to booking records.

The police chief said Noce is accused of having sexual intercourse with a girl for approximately seven years, beginning when she was 4 years old.

The Police Department received a complaint in the case on Tuesday from an employee of the state Department of Children and Family Services, McDavid said.

The girl’s mother contacted the child protection agency, alleging the abuse of her daughter, he said.

In an unrelated case, Zachary detectives booked a 17-year-old Zachary youth on Saturday with aggravated rape and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Iren Khari Fields, 5044 Rollins Road, is accused of raping an 11-year-old girl after an Internet contact, McDavid said.

Fields was booked into Parish Prison on unrelated counts on June 16 and was still in jail when detectives added the rape and solicitation counts, the police chief said.
