Officials seek information on missing man

ST. FRANCISVILLE — The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a Wisner man last seen at a St. Francisville hotel Jan. 23, Sheriff J. Austin Daniel said.

Daniel said Shaun Thornhill, 41, came to St. Francisville last month, reportedly to seek work.

St. Francisville police arrested Thornhill on Jan. 21 after they found him walking in traffic on U.S. 61 in an intoxicated state, Daniel said.

Thornhill was released on bail the next day and was last seen Jan. 23 at the Magnuson Hotel.

The sheriff said the man’s truck was found the next day on Kingston Road, off U.S. 61 in Adams County, Miss.

Daniel said Thornhill is described as a white man who weighs about 180 pounds and is 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He has a scar above his left eye in the eyebrow, short black hair and blue eyes.
