Advocate staff report Oct. 21, 2013 Comments The East Ascension High School homecoming queen will be named during Friday night’s football halftime festivities. “We going back to our old traditions,” teacher Jamie Andrews said. In recent years, the queen was named during a weekday pep rally. The crowning of the queen is part of a weeklong homecoming schedule that includes daily spirit days, each with a different theme. The homecoming parade leaves the school at 6 p.m. Thursday and pep rally is set for 1:45 p.m. Friday. Before Friday night’s game in Spartan Stadium, alumni will be inducted into the school’s Wall of Fame and Hall of Fame. Inductees include Conrad Bourque, Hart Bourque, Ralph Delatte, Fernita Henry Kleeman, Cedric Machyeon, Todd Morgan and Adam Thompson.
