Advocate staff report Oct. 10, 2013 Comments Smoke, crashed cars, medical personnel, lawmen, students and firefighters acted out a fatal crash scenario for more than 400 St. Amant High School juniors on Sept. 25 in a Consequences of Impact program. The program, part of the Sudden Impact program, is offered through a partnership with Louisiana State Police and Our Lady of the Lake Hospital Trauma Center. The fake crash showed what could happen when a driver drinks, doesn’t wear a seat belt and texts while driving.
