The street will be closed at 7102 Main St. from 8 a.m. Monday to 4 p.m. Sept. 19, drainage officials said in a news release. At 7102 Main St., crews will install 64 feet of 42-inch culvert to help drain flood waters under Main toward a pumping location along the protection levee at Bayou Conway, East Ascension officials said. Officials said crews will also install two control valves, one at a culvert crossing at John LeBlanc Boulevard and Main and the other at the extension of Main by Bayou Conway. Main Street will be accessible at both intersections with John LeBlanc Boulevard, officials said.
