Cool treats and prizes were part of Central Middle School’s Accelerated Reader party on May 21.
Students meeting three of the reading program goals were treated to frozen treats and inflatable slides as part of a fun day of celebration, librarian Lisa Braud said.
Attending the party were 145 students.
Students also had a chance to win iTunes gift cards and a cash prize as part of a drawing.
Accelerated Reader is a software program used by school to assess a student’s reading level.
The program suggests books and then assess whether a student has completed reading the book by asking a series of questions.
