Savoy named 2013 Seton award recipient Savoy named 2013 Seton award recipient Annette Savoy Advocate staff report June 19, 2013 Comments Annette Savoy was named the St. John Primary and St. Theresa Middle schools’ 2013 Mother Seton Award recipient. The award is given to the parent who has “given untiringly to our school and community,” a news release from the school says. Savoy is the wife of Jeff Savoy and mother of Josh and Tyler, alumni of St. Theresa, and Austin, fourth-grader at St. Theresa Middle. She has been a member of the St. Theresa and St. John Home and School Association for 14 years. She served as a Home and School officer for 10 years and volunteered on the school fair committee for four years. Savoy has served on the Diocesan Home and School board for six years and currently serves as corresponding secretary. A parishioner at St. Mark Catholic Church, Savoy is a lector, teaches children’s church, and is in charge of the Catholic School’s Week Mass.
