LSU AgCenter hosts seminar on citrus LSU AgCenter hosts seminar on citrus Advocate staff report March 21, 2013 Comments The LSU Agricultural Center is conducting a citrus symposium for homeowners who would like to learn more about growing citrus in the home garden. The symposium will be presented by local County Agents Mariah Bock from St. John Parish, Andrew Loyd from Orleans Parish, and Craig Roussel from Ascension/St. James Parishes. They will talk about general tree care, insect identification and control, and citrus disease management techniques. The symposium will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Laplace Branch Library, 2920 La. 51, Laplace. Interested homeowners from Ascension, St. James and St. John Parishes are invited. Those attending will receive a copy of the LSU AgCenter Louisiana Home Citrus Production Guide.
