Candidate deadlines near for statements

February 22 is the last day The Advocate will accept candidate statements from anyone running for office in the April 6 election.

All candidate statements should include the candidate’s age, political party, hometown and education.

Announcements will be run on a space available basis and edited.

Announcements for candidates running for seats on the Sorrento Town Council, mayor or chief of police must be submitted by 5 p.m. Feb. 22 for publication in The Advocate’s Ascension Section.
