Authorities searching for 17-year-old Ascension runaway

The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office searched on Wednesday for a runaway teenage girl who left her parents’ Prairieville home with a man nine years her senior wanted on an arrest warrant in a trespassing case.

Danielle Sheese, 17, lived with her parents on Belle Alliance Street until she left in the company of Jerard Caballero, 26, Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley said in a news release. Caballero’s last known address was on Melancon Street in Sorrento.

Sheese was last seen wearing a black skirt with a gray sweatshirt and red sandals when she was dropped off at a high school, Wiley said.

Sheese was believed to be with Caballero in a 2008 burgundy Honda Pilot bearing Louisiana license plate VSG408, the release says.

The two were last spotted in a mobile home park, at 22137 Walker South Road, in Livingston Parish, Wiley said.

Livingston authorities have searched the park and vicinity with no success, the sheriff said.

Sheese is sought as a runaway and Caballero faces prosecution on an outstanding arrest warrant in a trespassing case, the sheriff said.

Caballero has been arrested and booked in the past with the crime of obscenity, Wiley said.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Sheese and Caballero is asked to contact the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225)-621-4636 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-STOP
