Central Middle School’s MacKenzie Andrews has double duty this school year, serving not only as the school’s Junior Beta Club president but also holding the same title at the state level.

MacKenzie campaigned for the state office by using the “Mac” part of her name to inspire a McDonald’s-themed election presentation and skit.

MacKenzie attended the Broyhill Leadership Conference in July.

“The conference was educational and inspiring, and I would like to attend again next year,” MacKenzie said. “I met so many other Junior Beta state officers from across the country.”

“I am looking forward to our state convention in May where I will lead the first session,” she said.

“I wish everyone could have a chance to attend a Junior Beta Convention. It is amazing,” she said.
