St. Amant festival features performers

St. Amant Middle School will host its second Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the school, 44317 La. 429, St. Amant.

The festival will feature performances by the St. Amant High Gatorettes, Cinderella Scholarship Program queens, Gonzales and Lake middle school cheerleaders, St. Amant Middle School dance team and Griffin’s Academy of Martial Arts.

St. Amant Middle School students are planning a talent show.

Music, food, arts and crafts, games, photographs with characters, raffles, face painting, train rides and inflatables are planned for the festival, which is open to the public.

A variety of items will be on sale in the country store and the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office will be on hand for children’s identification cards.
