VFW Post 3693 holds Senior Birthday Party

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3693 and its Auxiliary held their monthly Senior Bingo and Birthday Party on July 9 at the post hall on Churchpoint Road in Gonzales.

The July celebration was attended by 130 seniors and people with disabilities. Twenty gifts were given out and four door prizes were distributed.

Celebrating birthdays were Justine Brunson, Ida Grille and Elva Michael.

Celebrating wedding anniversaries were Julie P. Gautreau, Darlene Gonaway, Wayne and Kathryn Morin and Lawrence and Bessie Theobold.

The next Senior Bingo and Birthday Party is set for 1 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the VFW hall.
