Dennis Delasbour, 41, 1905 Pine St., Franklin, was arrested on Monday after a weeks-long investigation and booked on counts of distributing marijuana and other contraband into a penal institution, officials said. Detectives arrested Delasbour after the July 3 discovery of marijuana in the possession ofinmate Ivory Fine, who was arrested while in jail, said Traci Landry, a spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office. After a multiweek investigation that involved interviews and viewing video surveillance of one of the courtrooms, “Detectives determined that Delasbour dropped a package containing marijuana and tobacco,” Landry said in a news release. A judge had not yet set a bond amount for Delasbour as of Tuesday, according to the release. Landry said an investigation continues.
