Patterson man dies in Monday crash on U.S. 90 Patterson man dies in Monday crash on U.S. 90 Acadiana bureau April 19, 2013 Comments LAFAYETTE — A Patterson man was killed Monday when the car in which he was a passenger collided with another vehicle in Calumet on U.S. 90 just before 2 p.m., State Police said. Ryan Boudreaux, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Mary Parish coroner, State Police said in a news release Monday night. Boudreaux was a passenger in an eastbound 2007 Toyota driven by 31-year-old Tasha Boudreaux when the driver, “for reasons still under investigation,” veered off the left side of U.S. 90, crossed the median and crashed into a 2011 Toyota van, according to the release. The driver of the van, Jona Laborde, 41, from Youngsville, and her 3-year-old passenger were wearing seat belts and sustained minor injuries, the release said. Tasha Boudreaux sustained moderate injuries. The news release did not state whether Tasha Bordereaux and Ryan Boudreaux, who were wearing seat belts, were related.
