Paul Mouton said in a news release. Traffic will be diverted onto Ambassador Caffery to West Willow Street while the roadway remains closed, Mouton stated. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area until the roadway reopens. Johnson later died the evening of Dec. 18 at a local hospital, police said.
