Academy Christmas concert scheduled

OPELOUSAS — The Magnet Academy for Cultural Arts (MACA) instrumental music department will perform its annual Christmas Concert at 6 p.m. Thursday in the MACA auditorium at 1100 East Leo.

Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for students.

Free business slated in Enterprise Center

LAFAYETTE — Microlending company Accion presents a free business seminar on credit and small business lending options from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Enterprise Center of Louisiana, 3419 N.W. Evangeline Thurway.

The seminar, “Gearing Up for 2013: Credit & Capital — Know Your Options,” will feature Lindsay Navarro, Accion’s director of business support in the Delta.
