Lafayette police investigating convenience store robbery

Lafayette Police Department detectives are looking for three armed men who jumped the counter at a convenience store Thursday night and robbed money from the cash register.

Officers responded at 10:40 p.m. Thursday to the 2100 block of Kaliste Saloom Road after employees reported three teens with slim builds and wearing ski masks entered the store armed with handguns, Cpl. Paul Mouton said in a news release.

Store employees reported that the three teens were 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 9-inches tall.
