Lafayette hotline opens for school bus routes

The Lafayette Parish School System’s transportation call center is available to help parents and guardians who need information about their child’s school bus route.

Changes to school dismissal times this year will affect drop-off times for students.

School district transportation director Damon Evans encourages parents to check online for updated route information at lpssonline.com or call the hotline at (337) 521-RIDE.

More than 280 bus drivers transport some 17,000 students during the school year.
