BATON ROUGE AREA

BancorpSouth Inc. has named Dan Adler as senior vice president, corporate lending; Brett Blanchard to senior vice president, commercial loan department manager; and Lexy O’Brien to mortgage branch manager.

Adler was assistant vice president in commercial banking at Teche Federal Bank. Blanchard was commercial loan department manager at BancorpSouth and O’Brien was mortgage loan officer.

The Forest Products Society has elected all four faculty members in the Louisiana Forest Products Development Center at the LSU AgCenter to leadership positions:

Niels de Hoop, associate professor, as president; Richard Vlosky, the LFPDC director and Crosby land and resources endowed professor of forest sector business development, as vice president; Todd Shupe, professor and director of the LFPDC’s wood durability laboratory, as board member for the south-central region; and Qinglin Wu, the Roy O. Martin Sr. professor in biocomposites/nanomaterials and director of the composites engineering laboratory, as faculty adviser for the newly created Forest Products Society LSU student chapter.

David Cole has been named vice president and manager of the Chase bank branch in Towne Center.

He was a mortgage banker.

Dr. Shawn Donelon, of Alexandria, has been elected president the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana Inc.

Matthew Heinz, of Baton Rouge, was elected treasurer.

Board members include Dr. Pierre Blemur, Joe Brady, Shawn Carroll, Dianne Castano, Ashlie Castro, Michele Prattini and Dr. Eric Simon, all from New Orleans, and Eric Martin, a St. Martinville native.

LAFAYETTE AREA

Dustin Harrell, LSU AgCenter agronomist, has been named Louisiana rice extension specialist with the LSU AgCenter Rice Research Station in Crowley.

Jeffery “Jeff” Blum has been named senior executive vice president and chief credit officer at MidSouth Bank.

Blum was Morgan City area president for Whitney Bank.

NEW ORLEANS AREA

Design and construction firm Perez APC has named Craig G. Condon as director of construction and Brian Tenette as construction manager.

Condon was general manager at Building Construction Services LLC. Tenette was senior project/program manager with ETI Inc.

Bruce Naremore has been named senior vice president, chief financial officer, of East Jefferson General Hospital.

He was director of finance for Humana’s southern division and had worked at East Jefferson General Hospital as senior vice president, CFO from 2003 to 2008.
