Advocate staff report July 11, 2014 Comments The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office has released an image of the man deputies say attempted to rob a CVS store at 15255 George O’Neal Road around 9:10 a.m. Thursday. The man entered the store and passed a note to an employee stating he had a weapon and wanted narcotics from the pharmacy, but fled on foot without getting anything, according to a press release. A weapon wasn’t seen on him, deputies said. The would-be robber then entered a silver mid-sized vehicle with no license plate parked on Autumnwood and fled on Jones Creek toward South Harrell’s Ferry, deputies said. EBRSO established a perimeter and searched the area, but has not located him. The man is described as a black, slim build, approximately 5-foot 9-inch to 5-foot 10-inches tall, wearing a black jacket, orange/red wig, black sunglasses, and 2-inch-square white gauze bandage on the right side of his face, and dark pants.
