Emprint/Moran completes TriStar Graphics deal Emprint/Moran completes TriStar Graphics deal Advocate staff report June 28, 2014 Comments Emprint/Moran Printing of Baton Rouge has completed its acquisition of the assets of TriStar Graphics of Monroe, which also has operations in Lafayette. Rebecca Vance, president and chief operating officer of Emprint/Moran, said TriStar’s Lafayette facility’s sales and customer service staff will remain unchanged, while some of its production capabilities will be moved to Emprint’s Baton Rouge facility. She said the staff in TriStar’s Monroe office will remain unchanged. The deal was first announced in March. “Almost 40 new employees will be joining our Emprint team as a result of this acquisition,” Vance said. “TSG is known for the close relationships that their sales and customer-service personnel forge with their clients. Along with a geographical expansion, TSG’s dedicated staff is one of the main reasons that we saw this acquisition as an excellent fit with our existing operations.” Vance said TriStar’s sales force will be able to offer a wider array of services as a result of the acquisition. Emprint operates a large commercial and digital printing facility and a warehousing and distribution center off Florida Boulevard and has a facilities-management production facility in Savannah, Georgia. Emprint/Moran Printing has been in business for more than 134 years and was founded by Thomas J. Moran.
