Police arrest four in park tire slashings
Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputies on Thursday and Friday arrested four young people and accused them of slashing about 60 tires in a mobile home park in Walker earlier this month.
Deputies believe four people slashed the tires in Oak Forest Estates Mobile Home Park, 22137 S. Walker Road, Walker, during the early mornings of June 3 and June 10, Lori Steele, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, said in a news release. Deputies have not determined a motive, but the incidents are confined to that one mobile home park.
Deputies booked Austin Brown, 20, 9285 Louis Ave., Denham Springs, into Livingston Parish Detention Center on 10 counts of simple criminal damage to property, as well as three counts of resisting police and three counts of battery of a police officer.
Tiffany Allen, 17, of 22137 S. Walker Road, Walker, also was booked into Livingston Parish Detention Center on 10 counts of simple criminal damage to property.
A 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were booked into Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center on 10 counts each of simple criminal damage to property, Steele said.
