The suspect entered into a business armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun. He instructed the clerk to fill a bag with synthetic marijuana and fled the scene with an unknown amount. The suspect was driving a newer model Honda civic with the Lafayette City flag displayed on the front license plate. He was also wearing a ring on his left index finger. Advocate staff report June 08, 2014 Comments Lafayette police are looking for a man who used a gun Monday to rob a Johnston Street store of “synthetic smoking substance” with the brand names of Train Wreck 2, Blue Nugs and Kali Berry 2, officials said. Lafayette Police Department Sgt. Randal Leger said the armed robbery occurred in the 2500 block of Johnston Street. The robber, who was driving a Honda Civic with a Lafayette city flag license displayed on the front of the car, walked into the business with a silver semi-automatic handgun.
