Jindal reappoints supervisors to LSU board

Gov. Bobby Jindal has reappointed four people to the LSU Board of Supervisors this week.

The board, which oversees the LSU system, is made up of 15 gubernatorial appointees, subject to state Senate confirmation. Two are appointed from each district every six years and one appointed at large.

The members reappointed Monday are:

  • Farm Bureau Federation President Ronald Anderson, of Ethel, to the at-large position.
  • Red River Bank President and CEO R. Blake Chatelain, of Alexandria, to represent the 5th Congressional District.
  • Hotel owner, business executive and developer James Moore Jr., of Monroe, to represent the 5th Congressional District.
  • Manda Fine Meats CEO Robert Yarborough, of Baton Rouge, to represent the 6th Congressional District.
