NURTURING THE CREATIVE SOUL: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Baton Rouge Gallery, 1515 Dalrymple Drive. Willis Delony and his daughter Mary Claire Delony will talk about embracing one’s own creative path. Willis is an acclaimed jazz and classical pianist, while his daughter is an accomplished visual artist. Admission is free.

CANGELOSI DANCE PROJECT: 7 p.m., Manship Theatre, 100 Lafayette St. Cangelosi Dance Project Company I and II will perform works by Kris Cangelosi, artistic director in contemporary dance from her repertory collection including jazz dance, lyrical and classical works. Guest choreographers will have works featured.
