Herbert Joseph Montgomery III, of Lafayette, was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center Thursday after he was arrested in 15th District Court by a Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division, according to a Lafayette Police Department release. The shooting occurred at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of North St. Antoine Street, Cpl. Paul Mouton said in the release. Bond for Montgomery was set at $300,000.
