  • I REMEMBER: All day, LSU Hill Memorial Library, LSU Campus. LSU Libraries Special Collections will host the travelling exhibition produced by the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act Task Force in partnership with LSU Libraries’ T. Harry Williams Center for Oral History. The exhibition features oral histories, photographs and original art depicting individuals who work, live and play in Louisiana’s coastal wetlands.   • EVERY TREE TELLS A STORY SIGNBOARD EXHIBITION: All day, LSU Hilltop Arboretum, 11855 Highland Road. The culminating day of the eight-month event continues as the outdoor signboard exhibit that highlights the history, threat and ways to become involved with 12 trees and tree collections across the country.
  • RED STICK MOBILE FARMERS MARKET: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Scotlandville Library, 7373 Scenic Highway and 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Star Hill Church, 1400 N. Foster Drive. The mobile farmers market provides wellness resources and food options in areas without direct access to grocery stores.
  • SU VISUAL ARTS STUDENT ART EXHIBITION: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Visual Arts Gallery, Frank Hayden Hall, Southern University Campus. The exhibition is in celebration of the university’s centennial.

  • MOOD INDIGO AND THE VISUAL BLUES: 7:30 p.m., Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St. The free concert will feature the LSU Jazz Ensemble with music that explores the influence of blues and jazz during the Harlem Renaissance.
