The robbers entered the building at around 10:15 a.m. and ordered everyone to drop to the floor before demanding money from tellers, Cpl. Paul Mouton said in a release. The men left the building with an undisclosed amount of cash, fleeing in a small, green, four-door, older model vehicle, Mouton said. Mouton did not say whether the men were armed. He did say no one was injured during the robbery. Witnesses said the robbers, both black men, wore masks during the robbery, Mouton said. No further description of the men was provided. Police urge anyone with information to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
