ARTSFEST: noon, Baton Rouge Community College, 201 Community College Drive. The theme for the sixth annual event is “Community.” It will feature a variety of artistic disciplines. A poetry workshop will be held from noon to 1 p.m. “Ceramics” will be from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a student showcase will be held at 5 p.m. in the Frazier Art Building, 555 Julia St. Admission is free.

ZUMBA IN THE LAWN: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., North Boulevard Town Square, downtown. The YMCA will host the class.

TUTORING: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Broadmoor Presbyterian Church’s Naylor Building, 9340 Florida Blvd. Qualified tutors provide free one-on-one tutoring for middle and high school students. Students and accompanying adults should arrive 10 minutes early to register. (225) 924-4271.
