Investors buy office-warehouse on S. Choctaw Investors buy office-warehouse on S. Choctaw BY TIMOTHY BOONE| firstname.lastname@example.org April 05, 2014 Comments A group of investors has purchased a 60,590-square-foot office-warehouse in north Baton Rouge for more than $1.6 million. 7635 Choctaw LLC bought the property at 7635 S. Choctaw Drive in a deal that was filed March 21 with the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s Office. The seller was 7635 Land LLC, which is affiliated with Reads-Perkins Moving Systems, which occupies the building. Reads-Perkins Moving Systems is the local agent for Atlas Van Lines. Troy Daigle, a commercial sales and leasing agent with Donnie Jarreau Companies, represented the seller. Daigle said the moving company plans to lease back about a third of the building. The new owners will put the rest of the building back on the market. “The office sector is probably the strongest segment of the local real estate market,” Daigle said. Brent Garrett of Beau Box Commercial Real Estate represented the buyers.
