ARTSFEST: 9 a.m., Baton Rouge Community College, 201 Community College Drive. The theme for the sixth annual event is “Community” and will feature a variety of artistic disciplines. A discussion about printmaking and set design will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; “April Fools Poetry,” from noon to 1 p.m.; and “Paint by Numbers” interactive discussion and talk, 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Admission is free. www.mybrcc.edu.
